Born in the digital age, reborn for the age of experience.
Born in Cape Town, South Africa, of Spanish nationality and raised internationally, my journey has been as diverse as the places I’ve called home. Settling in Switzerland in 2007, I pursued higher education at the prestigious École hôtelière de Lausanne (Graduating with a BSc), where I cultivated invaluable skills transferrable to my professional journey. These included adeptly managing pressure and deadlines, mastering conflict resolution, and building meaningful relationship with individuals from all walks of life.
Eager to challenge myself and apply my evolving skill set, I seized the opportunity to lead the Marketing department of Flyability, a pioneering startup designing drones for industrial inspection. During this six month internship period, I spearheaded the department's inception, igniting a passion for functional marketing. From steering all marketing endeavours to orchestrating global showcases, I found my niche in crafting compelling narratives.
Following this period, I underwent the most transformative years of my career thus far. I honed my skills at an advertising agency initially known as blue-infinity, which later rebranded to Isobar before merging with the Swiss agency Namics and transitioning to Merkle.
My time there profoundly shaped my approach to work and relationships. Collaborating with diverse businesses, clients, and industries allowed me to grasp the distinct nuances, values, and characteristics of each industry. Navigating tight deadlines, budgets, and the daily rigours of agency work became second nature, exposing me to the entire marketing landscape in real-time.
Having demonstrated my capacity to spearhead expansive, end-to-end marketing endeavors, I was entrusted with leading the "Storm of Greatness" campaign—an embodiment of my strategic vision and creative ingenuity, and remains among my proudest professional achievements.
